First Self-Contained Mobile Forensics SystemDepend on the GigaStor Portable for troubleshooting network and application problems wherever they occur. GigaStor Portable ends the hours of problem resolution and finger-pointing by providing engineers with a detailed packet-level view of the network before, during, and after problems occur.
Available for all common network topologies including Gigabit, 10 Gb, WAN, OC, and Fibre Channel. Includes either 2 TB or 4 TB of total storage.
Unique Compact Design for Ease of TravelOur Portable Analyzer Systems weigh 25 lbs (11.3 kg). With the included travel case, the system weighs less than 50 lbs (22.7 kg) making it applicable for airline travel. The system includes all necessary hardware and software for real-time wire-speed analysis. Simply plug in and begin real-time network monitoring and troubleshooting or choose the GigaStor Portable version for long-term packet capture with retrospective network analysis.
For Remote Sites, No System Performs BetterCompanies like http://www.netinst.com/news/casestudies/nec.html ">NEC rely on the GigaStor Portable to conduct pre-deployment network assessments for their customers. Instead of having to ship and install three to four large appliances on customer networks, the company uses our Portable System for faster “plug and perform” analysis. GigaStor Portable stores terabytes of traffic for later playback and analysis. Engineers can use the GigaStor to scroll to a point of interest and perform Expert analysis. NEC also uses the Gigabit Portable Analysis System because it contains all hardware and software required to troubleshoot and manage the most advanced wire-speed gigabit and 10 Gb networks in real time. The Gigabit Portable provides immediate analysis and reporting on full-duplex network performance.
Connects to any Observer Console for Shared VisibilityOur portable analyzer system connects to any Observer Expert or Observer Suite console for network-wide troubleshooting. It can also connect to the Observer Reporting Server, delivering aggregate reporting data with the ability to drill down for problem resolution. All Network Instruments products link to each other for complete monitoring and real-time analysis across multiple locations.
Available for LAN, WAN, and SAN SystemsPortable Analysis systems contain all the hardware and software required Provides full-duplex, wire speed capture and analysis on:
For LAN Systems, gain visibility into trunked gigabit or 10 Gb links. Our proprietary Gen2? technology provides wire-speed captures. For WAN Systems, utilize over 30 real-time statistics on WAN performance. The WAN Portable System can monitor CIR to verify and enforce Service Level Agreements. For SAN Systems, obtain full-duplex, wire-speed Fibre Channel analysis. Gain real-time metrics and a comprehensive Expert system for reduced MTTR. ?
